About Baake Field Services LLC
Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Baake Field Services LLC [BFS] provides environmental and geological field services of the highest quality at the lowest, unbeatable prices. Not the typical full-service consultant, BFS is a specialty company founded in 2012 that exclusively focuses on environmental sampling (namely soil and groundwater sampling) and other related field activities (please see the Services page for a lengthy list).
BFS' service area is focused on the Milwaukee-area and southeastern Wisconsin, but extends well into northeastern, south central, and central Wisconsin, as well as northern Illinois. There are no concrete boundaries.
About the Owner / Operator
Mr. Baake (pronounced "Baah-key"; rhymes with hockey) has earned undergraduate degrees in Environmental Geography and Geology/Geoscience. Since graduation he has gained approximately 8 years of experience working for three full-service environmental consulting firms by performing a wide array of field tasks (mirroring the services listed on this website). In addition to field activities, he has also performed project management, work plan preparation, and reporting, as well as the managing of field supplies, equipment, and vehicles. Mr. Baake has worked throughout Wisconsin and northern Illinois, with occasional projects extending into Michigan, Indiana, Virginia, and Nebraska; as well as one year in Southern California. Project sites have involved a vast spectrum of active and inactive facilities including, but not limited to, dry cleaners, gas stations, correctional institutions, schools, manufacturing facilities, vacant land, electrical substations, and over one dozen different landfills.
